The Cost

I ran into someone who recognized me and she was adamant in telling me that not all people can afford to live a healthy lifestyle like how I suggest. So my response was what I wrote above and I kindly continued to give her examples to try to teach her there were some things she could do. There are sooo many examples I could give, but these were the ones that came to the top of my head while speaking to her:

It doesn’t cost you anything more to drink less Diet Coke and more water.

It doesn’t cost anything to go on a walk or a jog to help sweat out some of your toxins.

It doesn’t cost you anything to spend a few minutes outside each day soaking up some vit d from the sun.

It doesn’t cost you anything to stop buying so many sugary snacks or candy.

It costs you less to make your own cleaning supplies with vinegar, lemons, and baking soda than buying them.

It doesn’t cost more to stop buying all the varieties of smelly lotions full of parabens and phthalates, and using just one unscented lotion.

It doesn’t cost you more to buy ketchup or jam without high fructose corn syrup. I’ve seen many brands sold for the same exact price that contain and don’t contain HFCS.

It costs you less to eat healthy to avoid so many doctor visits during the winter.

It costs you less to not eat out so much.

It costs you less to homemake meals rather than to buy all pre packaged dinners and lunches.

I could go on and on, but those are the ones that came to the top of my mind. When trying to live a healthier lifestyle, it’s about first getting rid of toxins and then replacing with better choices. Replacing with better choices may cost more money, but you do what your budget can afford.

What are ways you’ve spent less on your healthy journey❓
