Make sure your diaper rash cream does not have any of the following: – Just Ingredients

Make sure your diaper rash cream does not have any of the following:

There are a lot of diaper rash creams out there.
1️⃣Make sure your cream does not have any of the following:
talc 👎🏻👎🏻
Fragrance 👎🏻
Parabens 👎🏻
Just FYI, the maximum strength Desitin has all 4 of these ingredients 👎🏻
Report on Carcinogens by the National Toxicology Program links BHA to certain cancers and toxicities. BHA is banned inJapan, UK, and many European countries. BHA is on my top 8 list of ingredients to avoid in 2019.
Parabens are endocrine disrupters and also found in many breast cancer tumors. In 2012 Europe banned parabens. CDC.
2️⃣ If the cream has none of the above 4 ingredients but has petrolatum, its an ok choice. But with so many better options on the market I probably would choose a different one.
Petrolatum, is derived from petroleum. When properly refined, petrolatum has no known health concerns. However, petrolatum is often not fully refined in the US, which means it can be contaminated with toxic chemicals called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). WHAT TO LOOK FOR ON THE LABEL: Petrolatum, Petroleum Jelly, Paraffin Oil, Mineral Oil & White Petrolatum. On a score of 1-10, the EWG gives it a score of a 5.
3️⃣ BEST options - We all know great products in the store now exist for baby products. Companies like Honest Co, California Baby, Made of, Seventh Generation, Babo Botanicals, Shea Moisture, Tubby Todd, Earth Mama Organics, and others are brands making better choices.
But did you know there are also a lot of MLMs that have great products as well? Some instantly turn up their nose when they hear MLM. I know. I used to be one of them. Then I realized that there are some amazing products out there that companies are creating but shelf space in the store is really hard to come by. So they go a different route of selling it, which is through word of mouth in MLMs.
MLMs that have great baby products are 👍🏻:
Young Living
and others . .
👉🏻⭐️And going NATURAL can even be better and cheaper. I love using just organic coconut oil for their bums. Or shea butter, or @redmondclay, or even a spray bottle of witch hazel mixed with lavender works great!
