Celiac Awareness Month - ✨GLUTEN FREE GUIDE✨

For Celiac Awareness Month @servingceliacs and I put together a gluten free guide.

People eat gluten free for mainly 3 reasons:
1. They have celiacs disease
2. They are gluten intolerant or have gluten sensitivities
3. Their doctor suggested to go gluten free to help with inflammation issues such as depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, migraines, joint issues, and more.

Because so many go gluten free for inflammation reasons, I think it’s really important that people realize there are a lot of “junk food” gluten free products out there that have ingredients that can contribute to inflammation rather than help it. Being labeled gluten free does not equal being labeled healthy.

In our guide, some of your favorite gluten free products may not be in there due to having soybean oil, vegetable oil, mono and diglycerides, hydrogenated oils, sucralose, artificial flavoring, soy lecithin, corn syrup, and more. All ingredients that can contribute to inflammation.

In the guide there are over 140 products suggested. Pictured above are a few of them. Now remember, we have things like frozen waffles, pancake mix, pizza crust mixes, cookie dough mixes, etc. in the guide. HOMEMADE is always the best option on these, using a good gluten free flour. But, we also are not naive to the fact that people are busy and sometimes want to just grab the pre made pancake mix and pre made waffle option. So the BEST choice is homemade! And out of a good, better, best ranking system, we gave BETTER choices in the guide, since the best is always homemade.
